Lincoln HS Updates on Uniforms, Registrations, and Orientations.

LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENT THURSDAY, AUGUST 18, 2022:
Hello Lincoln High School family, this is principal Chris Gadsden. We hope everyone is enjoying their summer vacation. We miss you and look forward to returning to school. The school year will open soon and we want to give you a few updates.
 
We will have orientations for our 9th and 12th-grade students and parents beginning August 29th through September 2nd to discuss expectations, and schedules, have students and parents meet the staff, tours of the building, etc…
 
Tentative schedule:
Monday: Freshmen Students- Last Name A-G
Tuesday: Freshmen Students-Last Name H-P
Wednesday: Freshmen Students- Last Name-Q-Z
Thursday: Seniors- Last Name: A-M
Friday: Seniors Last Name- N-Z
 
High School registrations will take place beginning Thursday, August 25th, 30th, 31st, 1:00 pm-7:00 pm, and Tuesday, September 6th, 3:15 pm-7:00 pm. These registration dates are for students who are not registered at Lincoln, need to transfer to another school, are new to the school district, and need to enroll at Lincoln.
 
If students want to compete in the sports of football, girls volleyball, cross country track, girls tennis, Lincoln High School Cheerleaders, Strutters, and the Drumline, please come to the school to get a physical form. If you have a completed physical form, please return it to Lincoln High School in the nurse's mailbox on her door. The administrative team and our clerical staff will be available after August 22nd. We will sell uniform shirts at Lincoln High School after August 23rd. We have to raise the prices of the uniform shirts. We are now selling them at 1 for $16.00, 2 for $30.00, 3 for $40.00, 4 for $50 dollars, and 5 for $60.00. Our uniform shirts colors are royal blue, black, and white with the Lincoln logo. Students can wear khaki or black pants, appropriate shorts and skirts are permitted. Jeans, regular or ripped, tights, with or without pockets, short skirts, Crocs, and sandals are not permitted.
 
We will start to post student schedules on Infinite Campus. Once again Lincoln's student population grew, we are over 1,000 students. Student schedules are still being worked on, at the summer school close we will make adjustments to student schedules. Please be patient, vice-principal Ms. Danzy is no longer with us.
 
We thank Ferris Vice Principal Mr. Emilo Pane for helping us with scheduling this summer. Special shout out to school counselors Ms. Burrell and Ms. Matthews for coming in this summer to work on student schedules. At the end of August, our school counselors will assist students so that they will be ready for the first day of school.
 
We will have a special meeting for parents and students who want to earn a Criminal Justice or Early Childhood Associates degree from Hudson County Community College. You will receive a Zoom Meeting shortly.
