The Joseph H. Brensinger Elementary School - P.S. 17 had its Verizon Innovative Learning Lab grand opening. Students will learn to design and print on a 3D machines.
As well as being introduced to cutting edge augmented (AR) and virtual reality(VR) to achieve enhanced learning.

As part of Verizon’s commitment to digital inclusion, Verizon works with its nonprofit partners to provide free technology, free internet access and hands-on learning experiences to help students in under-resourced communities receive the education they deserve to help prepare them for today’s digital economy. With the goal to fundamentally change the way teachers teach and students learn, Verizon Innovative Learning is giving students the opportunity to do more and enables hands-on experiences for students with emerging technologies.
Heart of America leads the transformation of the state-of-the-art space in collaboration with the schools and district teams, and the J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute at Arizona State University provides a project-based curriculum and training for the teachers.
